Get my sister a job!

My younger sister has just broken up from school and is looking for a little summer job until she starts further education. She wrote an amazing little CV-style letter and sent it to over thirty local businesses asking for a flexible, part-time summer job.

Of the thirty plus letters she sent only three businesses replied. To me this is pretty disgusting. To blatantly ignore a handwritten letter from a 16 year old girl asking if there’s a place for her to work a summer job is pretty harsh.

Anyway, my sister is very mature for her age, hard working, great inter-personal skills (staff- and customer-facing) and loves to get stuck in. She’s also a nationally ranked athlete, so no stranger to hard, taxing and rewarding work, so…
